Harvester Trading founded in Taipei
Mr. C.S. Cheng establishes the Pharmaceutical Group with two international principals and a two-person team.
In 1957 Mr. C.S. Cheng founded what became Harvester Trading Co., Ltd., starting as exclusive agent and product-line distributor for two international principals.
The Pharmaceutical Group’s success became the framework for the whole company: later home-care and medical-device units grew from the same hospital, clinic, and pharmacy relationships.
The founding belief — healing the world with good medicine — still describes the company’s purpose.
